Located in the quaint southern Adirondack Mountain community of North Creek, Gore Mountain is a destination resort best known as a family mountain that offers a variety of novice, intermediate and expert trails. The Gore Mountain area has a strong skiing tradition dating back to the 1930s From lift attendants to the ski school, you'll find individuals whose families have passed on the tradition of welcoming guests to their "mountain home." Along with alpine skiing, Gore Mountain welcomes snowboarders and telemark skiers to 100 percent of the skiable terrain. For those who enjoy the more serene moments of the outdoors, Gore offers 25 km of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails.

Getting to Gore Mountain:
From Burlington: Take I-87 South (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 26 (Pottersville). Follow the Gore trailblazer signs to Route 28N.. Take Route 28N to the Hamlet of North Creek. Take a left turn onto Route 28 and then turn right onto Peaceful Valley Road.
Alternate route to Gore Mountain:
From Massachusetts Take I-90 (Mass. Pike) to I-787 in Albany. Follow 787 North to Route 7, and eventually to I-87 (Adirondack Northway). Follow I-87 North to Exit 23 (Warrensburg).. Follow Route 9 four miles to Route 28. Proceed 16 miles to Gore, located on Peaceful Valley Road.
From New York City Take New York throughway I-87. (Adirondack Northway) to Exit 23 (Warrensburg). Follow Route 9 four miles to Route 28. Proceed 16 miles to Gore, located on Peaceful Valley Road.
From Syracuse: Take I-90 (New York State Thruway) East to Utica. Take Route 8 North from Utica to North Creek, NY. Take a left onto Peaceful Valley Road and continue 5 miles to Gore Mountain.
