New Mexico lives up to its nickname “ The Land of Enchantment” thanks to its wondrous natural beauty and a lively culture built by waves of Native American, Latin and European inhabitants. It’s worth the trip to see Carlsbad Caverns National Park and its underground world of stalactites and Mexican Free-tail Bats. The state is full of impressive geology, but don’t overlook great towns like Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos. UFO buffs already know that they can indulge their hobby to their hearts’ content at Roswell New Mexico, supposedly a crash-site for a genuine flying saucer in the ’50’s.
