This clean, slow rolling river
is a great place to canoe and kayak along the Delaware Water
Gap. The Delaware is currently the only undammed river in the
Eastern United States and one of New Jersey’s beautifully
secured national sites.
Providing water for much of the regions inhabitants, human and
otherwise, the Scenic River is an important promoter of life.
Varying species of fish, waterfowl, mammals, reptiles and amphibians
live in the general vicinity, all sustained by the Delaware. |
