This preserve features two relatively short trails that
each open up a unique glimpse into natural activity in the area. One
guides you down to Lubberland Creek and its subsequent watershed. This
area flourishes with shoreline plants and amphibians, all native to
the region. Another path guides you through both marshes and rocky terrain.
The ponds and small inlets on the way are bustling with biological diversity
and well worth the challenging terrain.
Lubberland is a peculiar place with fascinating natural attractions.
Its sparse development is just enough to start any New Hampshire nature
romp.
