A very remote refuge, John Hay now
provides and open trail for nature enthusiasts. With great views
of Lake Sunapee, the short trail opens up a very pristine, well-protected
habitat that flourishes with native and migratory birds.
Once threatened by development, the current park and its patrons
are dedicated to keeping it as naturally sound as possible. Overseeing
the banks of Lake Sunapee, they work hard to educate the public
and study up on native breeds. They conduct educational programs
to promote the spread of natural awareness.
