Trail Description:

An easy, well-marked, loop trail leads to the �Imp Profile� which is visible from Rt.16 and Dolly Copp Campground. Excellent views of the Presidential Range are available from the rocky �face�. Start the hike opposite the Dolly Copp Picnic Area on Rt. 16, following the Imp Trail signs ascend to the profile (2.2mi. � 2 hr.). Continue another 0.9 miles to the North Carter Trail junction and another 2.3 miles back to Rt. 16, about 0.2 miles south of the starting point.
