Only about five miles of extremely worthwhile trails
have been established within this preserve’s water-laden grounds.
Otter Brook remains a seldom-traversed 1,700 acres of natural bliss.
In 1999 the Nature Conservancy of New Hampshire bought the plot of land,
which is vital environment for endangered wetlands animals. Along the
aforementioned path, there are several ponds, mountain streams and dense
swamplands where native wildlife can be seen flourishing, unthreatened
by humans and overdevelopment. It is easy to understand their sympathy
when you take in the clean air as well as the sprawling beauty of Otter
Brook.
