Anyone looking for things to do in Las Vegas that don’t
include gambling should visit the Charlie Kellogg and Joe Zaher
Sports Complex. This park is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This
state-of-the-art facility covers well over 100 acres in the northwest
part of the Las Vegas valley. The complex is one of the most popular
Las Vegas parks and recreation centers thanks to 11 lighted soccer
fields (7 are artificial grass and 4 are natural turf), a 3-cell
“dogs only” area, numerous children’s play areas,
shaded picnic shelters and a spacious walking and jogging path
surrounding the park.
Also located in the Charlie Kellogg and Joe Zaher Sports Complex
is the Amanda and Stacy Darling Memorial Tennis Center. This facility
is the largest of its kind in the state of Nevada. Here guests
will find 23 tennis courts (including the main court featuring
stadium spectator seating), a pro shop and locker rooms.
