Most People think of Nevada as a
baking desert with a few neon-lit dens of sin scattered amid the
cacti, but Nevada lakes offer as much aquatic fun as most folks
can handle. Lakes like the Lohantan
Reservoir, Lake
Mead and Ruby Lake are state tourism
favorites.
Lohantan Reservoir:
This
lake features over 11,000 acres of water for boating and fishing.
Lake
Mead National Recreation Area:
Swimming, hiking, boating and
other activities are common on this enormous lake.
Ruby Lake:
This lake is a Wildlife Refuge and a bird conservatory.
Lake Tahoe: While the skiing and
winter sports are great, the lake itself has much to offer.
