Fishing at Great Basin National Park
The Nevada fishing at Great Basin National Park is nothing to sneeze at, even if sneezing at National Park fishing opportunities is actually your idea of a good time. Brown, brook and rainbow trout are plentiful in Lehman Creek between the Upper Lehman Creek Campground and the park boundary. The same is true of Baker Creek from the Baker Creek trailhead through Grey Cliffs Group Campground. Baker Lake is also a good choice, with its approximately 4 surface acres, located via a 6-mile round-trip hike from the Baker Creek trailhead Snake Creek from park boundary to pipe outlet a good place to cast for brown and brook trout. Shingle or Williams Creeks on west side of park are decent spots as well, if you can navigate the 4 wheel-drive roads.

The park’s visitor center provides a Snake Range Recreational Fishing brochure full color illustrations of fish species. A Nevada state fishing license is required for all persons older than 11.
