Kings Canyon Falls is an attractive waterfall cascading 25 ft. along the creek. It is located near Carson City, Nevada is a popular little Nevada waterfall in the spring amongst tourists as well as the locals and partying teens because it’s very easy to reach. From the parking lot, it’s an easy walk 5-minute walk or up the hill along a dirt road to a creek crossing, after which hikers will see the waterfall shortly. The Kings Canyon Falls trail does require a bit of rock scrambling, but nothing difficult.
This area was the site of a large forest fire in the summer of 2004 started from an illegal campfire left by reckless campers. The fire destroyed more than a dozen homes and a commercial building. |
