Overview of Summit Lake State Recreation Area - Facts, Trivia, and Historical Information : Summit is a 190-acre Natural Resources District lake with 345 acres of land This area offers boating hiking hunting picnicking trailer dump station and a swimming beach There are 26 camper pads and an additional 32 non-designated campsites Visitors to Tekamah can visit the Burt County Museum The lake is at a full static water level Both boat ramps are open and the catchable fish at this time are large mouth bassblueguillchannel catfishwalleye crappie were stocked in August 2005 as fingerlings
