Willow Creek State Recreation Area

Nebraska Home | Nebraska Sitemap
Enacted in 1982, the Willow Creek reservoir covers a massive 700 acres and is much sought after by avid Nebraska campers, anglers and hunters. A flourishing ecology has sprung up in the areas surrounding the massive lake.

Willow Creek is in a prime location, neighbored to the north and east by similar state parks and to the south and west by interesting authentic attractions including a historic trail, a trout rearing station and a series of fossil beds. If you have more than hunters and anglers to please, you will have plenty else to choose from. If you are content with a sporting-specific trip, that’s fine too.
