Reservoirs are typically ideal for fishing and water
sports, but Red Willow’s appeal is not confined to the lake.
With relatively new, thorough camping facilities, Red Willow can comfortably
accommodate any individual or group on a memorable camping trip. The
campgrounds offer modern restroom facilities, showers, boat ramps, mooring
docks and your choice of primitive or modern sites dotted around the
beautiful lake. A nearby road has access to restaurant, groceries, gas,
camping supplies, boat rental, and pretty much any other comforts you
may or may not miss.
Fishers and hunters will definitely not be disappointed. There is a
large amount of pheasant, rabbit and deer native to the area and several
Nebraska fishing records have been set by Red Willow visitors.
Overall, this is a large, beautiful park in a gorgeous part of the world.
