 Fun Plex opened at its current location in Omaha, Nebraska in the late 70’s with just a go-kart track, a miniature golf course and some pinball machines. The waterpark aspect of this Nebraska theme park began with the wave pool and soon followed with the 5-story waterslides and kiddie pool. By the 1980's Fun-Plex could rightfully call itself the Largest Nebraska Waterpark with Rides.
Long time favorite family rides include the Classic Carousel, the Balloon Ferris Wheel, the slick track, bumper boats, bumper cars, and go-gator kiddie coaster. The lazzzy river was added, allows guests to take a break from the slides and waves. The kiddie park mall lets children ride miniature the planes, trains, and automobiles. The Chaos, Rock-O-Ride, the Tilt-A-Whirl and Nebraska's only Roller Coaster are just the ticket thrill-seekers.
An expanded go-kart track and a brand new 18-hole miniature golf course bring Fun Plex back to it's roots. There is truly something for everyone at Fun Plex Nebraska Amusement Park. |
