Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is located just minutes from downtown Kalispell and only 2 hours north of Missoula, Montana. Big Sky Airlines, Delta, Horizon Air and Northwest Airlines all have service to Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell, making visiting this excellent ski area as easy as the bunny slopes.
Scenic Blacktail Mountain overlooks the lake bellow, offering some of the best Montana skiing around, with trails that are appropriate for the whole family along with incredible views of beautiful Flathead Lake. Blacktail Mountain is renowned for its north-facing powder, reasonable rates and world-class service.
The facilities at Blacktail Mountain are open from December to mid-April, from 9:30am - 4:30pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Blacktail Mountain is also open on holidays, including the Christmas season.
