Information on Wilderness Lakes:
There is some excellent small lake fishing in the wilderness for large westslope cutthroat trout. A float tube will improve your access as some of these lakes have very steep shorelines. Most fishermen use spinning gear and a bubble bobber to cast dry flies and nymphs. Probably the best all around fly is a No. 10 Royal Wulff for these lakes. Nymphs and wooly buggers work well too. Some of the more popular lakes include, Moran Basin, Rock, Geiger, St. Paul, and Wanless Lakes.
