Since 1967, when Lew Stoerker family established this
plot of land as a park in memory of their young daughter, young children
and families visiting the Rock Bridge have experienced a great sense
of wonder. The extent of Missouri natural wonders and watershed ingenuity
can be explored and explained with the help of a guided tour and a glimpse
underground. Devil’s Icebox, Connor’s Cave and the spectacular
Rock Bridge itself are noteworthy stops on this 15-mile trail. The trip
can be made on foot, bike or on horseback, depending on the weather
and condition of the trail.
More adventurous visitors should check out the “orienteering”
course, which is a challenge to chart and navigate unfamiliar terrain.
