Roaring River is probably the premier trout fishing
destination in Missouri. The park includes a natural spring, a
hatchery, an impressive lodge, pool, restaurant, etc.
It is fairly easy to find something to do, whether fishing is
your thing or not. The accommodations range from rustic cabin
to primitive campsite to hotel-style sleeping quarters, depending
on your preference. The activities can be just as diverse.
Compared to some more rugged destinations, this one has potential
to be plush and relaxing. And with the tranquil Missouri woods
surrounding you, it can be just as exciting to sit around a campfire.
