This trail is ideal for those interested in edging along the limestone
cliffs for spectacular views and some challenging hikes. Ridge Runner
is open to horseback riders, hikers and mountain bikers, though the
latter will be quite a challenge.
Hiking this Missouri trail is best in mild times of year. In the summer,
the sun can get quite overwhelming along the cliffs. You are pretty
vulnerable to the sun up there. |
