Everyone recognizes the arch. The
great “gateway to the west” that spans the width of
the Mississippi and marks an era of continual progress in the
United States. St. Louis has grown right alongside the rest of
the country.
With a bustling nightlife and a downtown smothered in culture,
St. Louis has matured into an interesting, diverse town. Alongside
the standard museums, cathedrals, and science center St. Louis
has acquired three major sports teams and ,of course, still has
“the blues.”
Overall, STL is an interesting, unique city, rich in many ways.
