This town has become a sort of extreme
museum display, restored and protected so all visitors can understand
the city in its original splendor. There were many struggles through
the years to determine if Jefferson deserved to house the state
capitol, but over time, it can be seen that this is a well-deserved
honor.
Jefferson City represents a mixture of natural middle American
beauty and the comforts of progress. Although the facades and
old monuments are restored and well-kept, this city remains as
forward thinking as any.
