Legion is one of the Original Mississippi
State parks, developed hundreds of years ago. It remains one of
the prime state parks in the region due to its rugged, stark backdrop.
The cabins and subsequent lodge which were built early in the
century remain pretty much intact, and give the park a rather
interesting, timeless feel. Any Mississippi visitor seeking adventure
through primitive or modern methods should give Legion a try. |
