The Strong is an interesting, positive
experience, regardless of your personal river preferences. There
is a well-developed campground nearby with canoe rentals and various
camping options. This is a relatively lazy, shallow river, void
of any significant obstruction. It is uncomplicated and can be
a good little Mississippi side trip for a group, couple or for
going it alone.
