Trail Description:
Sheepranch Trail begins just north of the south trail head, Noxubee Hill Cemetery, and runs west, parallel to Sheepranch Road. The road is generally not visible from the trail, especially in the summer, except when the trail joins the road for a few yards. This trail is primarily tight single track, which occasionally opens onto old skid roads and one firebreak lane. The section contains several short steep climbs and offers some moderate technical challenge for riders. The area is particularly scenic with impressive r avines dropping away from the Noxubee Crest area.
