Information on Giants Ridge Resort:

Giants Ridge Resort, located in northeastern Minnesota, offers winter fun for the whole family.

With 34 downhill runs, 70 km of cross-country trails and more than 3,000 miles of snowmobile trails nearby; Giants Ridge is known for its grooming and wonderful snow conditions.

The resort is a U.S. cross-country and biathalon training center. It has been host to World Cup events, national championships, Olympic tryouts, junior Olympics and masters championships in cross-country.

Giants Ridge also hosts downhill, slalom and giant slalom races, freestyle competitions and snowboard events.
