Sunset over Voyageurs National Park
A thorough ecosystem has developed in this well known Minnesota water-based park. Voyageurs is named for the French fur traders who once snaked through this maze of islands. The park, which dips into Lake Superior, is primarily for boating and hiking and these are the only real practical ways to get around. This one is extremely popular for Minnesota canoe enthusiasts.
