Lake Superior is known for its volatile
conditions and its choppy surface. The Apostle Islands, located
off Minnesota’s Superior coastline can be rough waters for
the average paddling novice. When making your way out to these
plush, mysterious land masses, try an enclosed top kayak and be
aware of all potentially dangerous weather conditions.
Being offshore and secluded, these islands have maintained the
