Information on Rackham Golf Course
The 18-hole Rackham Golf Course is located in Huntington Woods, Michigan. Rackham is rated one of the Top 10 municipal courses in the state and is conveniently located off I-696. Designed by the legendary Donald Ross, ASGCA, (whose designs include Pinehurst #2, Inverness Club, and Oakland Hills), this fine Michigan public golf course features all the hallmarks of a great Michigan golfing area, and has been a favorite among local golfers since it opened 1924. The Rackam Michigan golf resort is famous for Ross' trademark modest, well-bunkered greens. Visitors will be glad they included Rackham on their Michigan golf vacation, as it is a historic and beautiful course with plenty of enjoyable challenges.
American Golf Corporation manages this facility. Todd Murray is the General Manager. Senior rates are available for guests age 55 and older. Junior rates are available for guests age 17 and under.
Description:
This course has numerous sand bunkers throughout its design. The fairways are somewhat open and the terrain is fairly flat.
