Information on Huron Meadows
The 18-hole Huron Meadows Metropark Golf Course facility is located in Michigan along the Huron River, 3 miles south of Brighton. Susan Nyquist designed Huron Meadows, which offers all the hallmarks of a 1st rate Michigan public golf course. The greens are well groomed and fast, and the wide fairways and rolling terrain present a number of strategically placed water hazards, all designed to provide variety and challenging play for Michigan golfing enthusiasts of all skill levels. Huron Meadows is a certified member of the Turfgrass Environmental Stewardship Program.
The Huron Meadows golf course opened in 1984. Junior discount (children 17 and under) rates are available throughout the season. General Manager Bill Ingersoll manages the course, which is part of a 1,539 acre recreational facility located near Brighton. Picnicking, shore fishing, nature trails and rowboat rental are available there.
