Blue Hills Ski Area is located just 15 minutes from Boston in Canton, Mass. It has recently been taken over by the owners of Ragged Mountain in New Hampshire. Blue Hills now has a state of the art snowmaking system, improved night lighting system and upgraded lift system. A certified staff of ski and snowboard instructors and a new rental fleet of 1,000 skis and snowboards makes Blue Hills a great place to learn for skiers and snowboarders of all ages. With eight trails on 60 skiable acres, Blue Hills has five lifts, including a double chairlift, a Magic Carpet and Carrousel. Blue Hills is the Eastern Massachusetts center for snowboarding and rentals are available. One of the best times to ski Blue Hills is at night. Ride the double chairlift and enjoy the lights of Boston. Full facilities are available, including rentals, ski shop and full service cafeteria.
