Massachusetts Rivers offer a wide variety of outdoor
recreational activities from which visitors can choose. There
are many rivers officially designated as recreational rivers,
such as the Concord
National River and the Westfield
Wild and Scenic River. Others like the Charles
River are accessible from urban centers.
