Massachusetts’ Adams National Historical Park (located in the city of Quincy, Norfolk County, about 10 miles south of Boston) comprises nearly 14 acres and contains11 historical structures and several interesting cultural sites.

The history of the Adams family (encompassing five generations from 1720 to 1927) includes 2 Presidents and First Ladies, 3 U.S. Ministers and an assortment of historians, writers and many other family members who added to the remarkable accomplishments of this important family. The Adams National Historic Park is dedicated to preserving the memory of the Adams family and the times in which they lived.

The park's interactive reenactment of the Passage of the Declaration of Independence is held year on the 4th of July, and at the Park's Spirits of Quincy event, held each year in October, lets visitors meet the ghosts of the past. Regularly scheduled tours of the historic homes occur in season (April 19th through November 10th). The park’s trolley bus provides transportation between sites. Only guests on a guided tour may enter the historic homes. Tours are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
