The Maplegate golf course opened in 1991 and has been a staple of New England golf tours for over 15 years. This is great New England course that is perfect for a family golf vacation because it allows juniors to play and get the full effect of a real championship New England golf course. Maplegate is a challenging course that requires smart play on many of the tree-lined holes. Some of the longer par 4's have long iron shots to the greens instead of a driver wedge all the time.
