Susquehanna State Park Set along the river valley, with its heavy forest cover and massive rock outcrops, Susquehanna State Park has many historic structures like the water-powered Rock Run Mill built around 1794. The Jersey Toll House, a passing point for early valley settlers and a mansion built in 1804 which overlooks the mill, has been restored for the public to enjoy. The Toll House was built to accommodate the toll keeper who collected tolls for the bridge that crossed the Susquehanna River at Rock Run.
