    Gunpowder Golf ClubThe course at the Gunpowder Golf Club opened in 1956, making it the oldest golf course in Prince George's County. Operated by the Milligan family, the 18-hole, Par 70 course measures 6061 yards of excellent Maryland golf that rival any golf resort in Maryland, making it a must-play for any family golf vacation.

    Though the course at the Gunpowder Golf Club is located in Laurel, Maryland, the course was designed to follow the natural topography of the land in the Scottish tradition. This Maryland golf course provides challenges for golfers of all skill levels because Gunpowder’s narrow fairways follow the terrain’s rolling hills, and trees border its small undulating greens on every hole. Both front and back 9 sport holes that require patience and accuracy.

    Gunpowder Golf Club is a great place to hone ones skills. It has 2 practice greens, a 9-hole chip and putt, and a wedge shot area that helps golfers with their short game.

    Description: This traditional course was built on rolling terrain, so expect many uphill and downhill lies. The fairways are narrow and water hazards come into play on a few holes.
