The New Hermon Mountain Ski Area is located in Hermon, Maine, a few miles from the city of Bangor. It’s a smallish mountain with a distinctly family atmosphere. Nevertheless New Hermon Mountain Ski Area offers fun and occasionally challenging Maine skiing to its visitors.
There are 3 main trails to choose from: Cloud 9, The Scenic and Lakeview. These head straight down the fall line. The rest of the trails are, for the most part, narrow New England style runs with all the typical dips, turns and pitches. Beginners will enjoy Slowpoke and Lazylane are perfect beginners’ trails, but more advanced skiers will want to try their skills on Cloud 9, Jammer, Snake and other black diamond trails.
New Hermon Mountain Ski Area offers night skiing 6 days a week. The season at New Hermon generally lasts from mid-December to late March.
