Trail Description:
(To AMC Carter Notch Hut: 3.8 mi. � 3 hr.) The trail leaves Rt. 16 about 8.0 miles south of Gorham. It�s an interesting day�s hike along a mountain stream into the beautiful Carter Notch. The AMC operates a stone hut at the foot of the towering cliffs near Carter Lakes.
