Toledo Bend Reservoir Lake sits on the Louisiana/Texas state line, with most of its waters on Louisiana side near the town of Many, Louisiana. It is approximately 185,000 acres, 70 miles long, 3 to 5 miles wide, and has some 1,200 miles shore line.

There are 80 access-points to the lake, many of which are large-scale commercial launches and full-facility. The lake is adjacent to state parks that feature campgrounds and other lodging, as well as other facilities.

This enormous Louisiana lake has plenty of open water to enjoy. Boating is a favorite activity at Toledo Bend Lake thanks to the well-marked boat lanes. Jet Skiing, swimming, water-skiing and other water sporting opportunities abound. SCUBA diving, for example, is extremely popular near the dam area.

This lake is a prime spot for Louisiana fishing. Toledo Bend has a national reputation for producing trophy-sized large mouth bass, and the lake hosts several fishing tournaments. The lake is also home to the small bream, perch, catfish, and striped bass.
