Trail Description:
The Turkey Pen Trail can only be used by horseback riders and hikers. It is approximately 2 miles long with a trailhead at the Government Pond Recreation Complex. This trail makes a complete loop if visitors return to Government Pond on the Big Branch Trail which brings the length to about 4 miles. The Turkey Pen Trail travels through a portion of the beautiful Longleaf Scenic Area.
