Hiking in Kisatchie ForestThe Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana provides 2 designated OHV trails and 2 National Park hiking trails for visitors to enjoy. The Stuart Nature Trail, the Glenn Emery Trail and the Camp Livingston Trails offer excellent Louisiana hiking in some of the state’s most beautiful country.

The Stuart Lake Nature Trail is a short 1/2-mile loop trail located in the Stuart Lake Recreation Complex. The trail is accessible via the camping area or t the day-use area across the levee on the lake. There is a small fee to use the Stuart Lake Recreation Complex.

The 2.2 miles long Glenn Emery Trail is a hiking and biking only trail with trailheads at both the Pollock Recreation Complex and the Stuart Lake Recreation Complex. It is and is not a loop trail.

The Old Camp Livingston Site is home to the Hickman Multiple-Use Trail and the Little Creek Multiple-Use trail. The Hickman Trail is a 12.5 mile-loop and the Little Creek Trail is a 22.6-mile loop.
