 The Nevel Meade Golf Course facility in Prospect, Kentucky is home to an 18-hole Kentucky golf course with a course rating of 72.2 and a slope rating of 122. Nevel Meade features 6,956 yards of great Kentucky golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Nevel Meade is a links style course, featuring bent grass tees and fairways, as well as bent grass greens that are firm, spacious and moderately undulating.
There are several challenging hazards at Nevel Meade, including numerous sand traps, 2 holes with a stream in play and deep heather if golfers stray far enough from the fairways. The course also has a high elevation and very few trees so golfers can expect wind.
General Manager Lee English manages the Nevel Meade golf course, which opened in 1991. Steven R. Smyers, ASGCA, designed Nevel Meade to be an enjoyable stop on any Kentucky golf vacation.
