Kentucky is the home of bluegrass music, championship horseracing and
the most extensive cave system on earth at Mammoth Cave National Park.
The gentility of the antebellum south is still kicking around Louisville
(even though Kentucky never actually succeeded from the United States)
and on the thoroughbred farms dot the states rolling green hills. Outdoor
lovers can follow the footsteps of a certain coonskin-capped pioneer
in the Daniel Boone National Forest or trod the ancient migration path
at scenic Cumberland Gap National Park.
