When to visit:

While the tourist season in Kansas begins in May and runs through late September, the best time to visit this great western state is in the height of summer. This also happens to be it’s peak season. Most of the fun to be had in Kansas occurs in June, when the festivals and rodeos are in full swing.

Off-season visitors are bound to find some lower rates at whatever remains open, but they’ll miss out on the best Kansas has to offer. Winter in Kansas in particular has rather little to recommend to visitors.
