Trailhead Directions:

From LaVeta; take state highway #12 (25 miles south) to county road #34, (travel 5 miles) to Purgatoire campground. Turn in to Northfork trail approximately 3.5 miles to jct. of Wildcat trail.

From LaVeta; take state highway #12 (south) to county road #422, (travel 4 miles) to Blue Lake campground entrance, turn left off of FDR #436 (travel 1.5 miles) to Northfork trailhead.
