Dave Richards and Donna Richards designed the River Valley golf course. It opened in 1995 and owner Lee Wahlert manages the course.
River Valley Iowa Golf Course is a public Des Moines Iowa Golf Course that offers challenging holes overlooking the Raccoon River Valley. The 12th hole is a particularly beautiful Island Green.
River Valley is a fully irrigated course with 2 lakes, a 300 yard driving range, rental carts and spacious greens. The rustic log clubhouse at Iowa River Valley has a unique wrap-around deck with 1st class banquet facilities.
