From the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore between Gary and Michigan City to Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana lakes make great vacation getaway spots. There are plenty of cool lakes in Indiana for boaters, swimmers and anglers to enjoy, and if you can’t find something to do on Lake Michigan, then there’s just no helping you.

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore:
The Indiana Dunes are 15,000 acres of fun on the edge of Lake Michigan.

Lake Maxinkuckee:
Maxinkuckee is perhaps the most beautiful of all the Indiana lakes, and is without a doubt, the 2nd largest.

Lake Michigan:
Lake Michigan is the Great Lake that touches Indiana, providing it with plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Tipsaw Lake:
Tipshaw Lake in Hoosier National Forest is great for swimming, fishing and boating, and has its own sandy beach.
