Similar to many other college towns across the United States, Bloomington has a constantly fluctuating population of forward thinking individuals, an excitable demeanor, a breathtaking campus and, well, sports. This south central Indiana town is rich with activity and entertainment. Summer brings several weekend festivals and the Bloomington-specific wineries and brewpubs are always an interesting stop.

This college town is mostly college, but it is fairly easy to find something for everyone. If you pass through from either direction, from any part of the world, Bloomington, Indiana is a good measuring stick for the American Midwest.
