Little Clifty Creek

Indiana Home | Indiana Sitemap
Little Clifty Creek drops off the east branch of Clifty Creek Gorge creating Indiana’s 60+ foot Little Clifty Falls. Little Clifty Falls can become quite vigorous from April through May after the area’s extended, hard rains.

There is no 'easy' trail to the bottom of the Clifty Creek gorge. It is rugged and, in places, rather tricky with challenging, steep descents to Chifty Creek at both ends of this 4.5 mile trail, and only very dedicated hiker will enjoy them.

Visitors can view Little Clifty Falls from a designated viewing area a few hundred yards south of the Chifty Falls parking area at the northern entrance to Clifty Falls State Park.
