The Green River State Wildlife Area is a wildlife restoration area popular among hunters, hikers, birders and other outdoor enthusiasts. Topography of the 2,565-acre area varies from flat to gently rolling. Park Offers : Nearly 2,515 of Green River's 2,565 acres are open for hunting. The entire site is huntable, except for a 50 acre restricted area around the site residence. Hunting of pheasant, rabbit, quail, dove, squirrel, crow, fox, raccoon, coyote, turkey, opossum, skunk and deer is allowed. Check with the site manager for specific hunting information.
